This recently refurbished luxury holiday home offers sweeping sea views, a private swimming pool, and ample space for a family vacation in the sun. Located a 5-minute drive from Canyelles village, Villa California provides access to plenty of amenities, including a Sunday market, supermarket, cafes, and horse riding stables. The villa’s proximity to walking and cycling paths, leading to the historic Olerdola castle, adds to its appeal.

Sitges and Vilanova’s bustling seaside resorts are an easy 20-minute drive away, while Barcelona city center is reachable in 40 minutes. With its attractive design, breathtaking sea views and excellent outdoor amenities, Villa California is an excellent choice for a family getaway in the Sitges area.

ACCOMMODATION

Villa California has been stylishly re-modelled and furnished to a high standard. The villa is fully equipped with everything needed for an excellent family holiday. The interior has a bright, fresh and relaxing ambience.

The style is contemporary Mediterranean with white-washed walls, cool tiled floors and uncluttered open spaces, all of which combine to create the perfect environment for a great holiday.

The spacious living room is newly furnished with two comfortable sofas, a large TV with Satellite and coffee table. This room connects to another open plan living / dining area and also has access through double doors to the garden and covered dining terrace.

The open plan living area offers additional comfortable seating. The dining area features a large dining table with bench style seating and has direct access to the kitchen.

The brand new kitchen is a modern all white design and is fully equipped with everything necessary for your holiday.

The first of the double bedrooms is situated on this level along with a large family bathroom with walk in shower.

All of the remaining bedrooms are on the first floor of the villa which also features a galleried seating area with high ceilings, and doors leading out to a terrace that wraps around two sides of the house offering spectacular views.

There is a spacious family room with a large double bed and stairs leading up to a mezzanine level with twin beds, all which benefit from the A/C unit.

The large family suite incorporates a large double bedroom, a separate twin bedroom and large family sized ensuite bathroom all which benefit from the A/C unit.

Villa California can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests in 6 bedrooms + a garden suite arranged as follows;

Located in the garden across from the main house is a charming garden suite with two comfortable single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Swimming Pool and Gardens

A major feature of Villa California is the fantastic 20 m2 swimming pool with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and out to the Mediterranean sea. The level gardens wrap around the house provide ample space for sunbathing, relaxing and playing.

Directly in front of the villa and overlooking the pool area is a fabulous covered terrace with large dining table with seating for 14 guests as well as a gas BBQ making it the ideal space for alfresco dining while enjoying the wonderful view. The terrace also features a cool chill-out area with comfortable low level seating creating the perfect place for relaxing with a drink.

The 1,000 m2 of attractive gardens combine paved areas and artificial grass interspersed with mature palms. The lawn has a football goal and trampoline to keep the kids entertained.

There is also a ping pong table to keep all the family entertained.

There is a great sense of space both inside and outside of the house allowing guests to feel that they have the room to enjoy their holiday even though they maybe part of a large group.

We had a wonderful stay with friends and our children at Villa California in Canyelles. Magnificent villa! A very pleasant pool area with a superb view. An even more beautiful view from the bedroom balconies. Everything was perfect! The SHV team welcomed us warmly to hand over the keys, and everything was well-detailed. They remained at our disposal at any time during our stay. We wanted to thank Laura, who came late when the power went out. She was very responsive and efficient. I recommend SHV, which offers beautiful villas and is very professional.

The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, and ideal for a group, even for a longer stay. There are two family rooms, which are perfect for smaller children with their parents, and three double rooms. The bathrooms are very well equipped. The large outdoor and indoor seating areas are also great. And the kids love the pool and trampoline.

This was a beautiful stay for our group. Gorgeous views all around. The local stores are a bit far away and the taxis are semi unresponsive, however, with proper planning these can be mitigated. Good and fast contact at the time of booking. Information was clear and price of rental was good! Check-in time was a bit unclear, had asked to be able to check in earlier when booking and on the day of arrival. Unfortunately this was not possible. Villa was clean, could use some extra attention here and there. Beds were neatly made and can be well layed ready! Absolutely top. Villa California was easy to reach and has a super nice view from the garden, terrace and balcony!!! Swimming pool was also delicious and everything was clean. In the area is enough to do, you must have a car. Definitely worth it to book this Villa and will definitely look again at Villa Sitges as another house search Advice on car hire is also highly recommended, and have also arranged through ANEM.
