Masia Cal Mingo is a beautifully restored Catalan farmhouse dating back to the 15th century. The Masia is set in the very heart of the celebrated Penedes wine region just 15 minutes from the sandy beaches of Sitges and less than an hour from the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.

The Beautiful farmhouse enjoys a privileged location set amongst 3,000 m2 of private grounds. The Masia itself has been lovingly restored in the classic Catalan style with roof beams, terracotta tiled floors and cool whitewashed walls. The furnishings are of high quality and extremely comfortable.

It’s a truly beautiful place for families and friends to join together to celebrate special occasions or to simply relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of its delightful setting.

The Masia is accessed via a private driveway leading to a large car parking area, which is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean plants and fantastic views across the valley and vineyards. Once in the grounds, you enter the farmhouse through a large gate directly into a patio and outdoor lounge, immediately giving you the sense of peace and calm.

The patio area leads to the main entrance and hallway, which in turn give access to the first of the many bedrooms with a beautiful fireplace. The hallway also gives access to the dining area, complete with large rustic dining table, and a substantial bodega filled with local wines.

The fully equipped kitchen is located just off the elegant dining area. Also next to the dining area is the large and beautifully decorated living room complete with a big comfortable sofas, chairs, TV and DVD.

Directly from the living room you have access to another beautiful outdoor chill-out zone, complete with large dining table and fantastic BBQ area. This is the perfect space in which to relax or entertain any time of the day.

From the main entrance hallway you have access to the 1st floor, which features 5 of the 8 bedrooms, all complete with ensuite bathrooms.

At the main entrance area there is a nicely restored independent cottage that offers a double bedroom and lounge area providing sleeping for a further 2 people. There is a private bathroom adjacent to the cottage.

Furthermore, on the other side of the Masia is another separate cottage that also offers 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, along with a small fully equipped kitchen and living and dining room with cozy fireplace.

The beautiful 3,000 m2 private gardens feature a fantastic 9m x 3m private swimming pool, a BBQ area, several patios and chill-out lounges, not to forget the wonderful children’s tree house, all surrounded by lush green grass and stunning views across the valleys and vineyards.

Masia Cal Mingo is suitable for children and elderly guests and has fully enclosed grounds.

Ground Floor:

Main Building – Bedroom 1 with king size bed (160cm x 190cm) plus an additional single bed.

Cottage – Bedroom 2 with king size bed with additional sleeping area for 2 and an adjacent bathroom with shower and toilet.

Apartment – Gold Bedroom with kingsize bed and A/C. This bedroom shares a bathroom with Color Bedroom and has a shower and toilet.

Apartment – Color Bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined together.

First Floor:

Purple Bedroom with kingsize bed that can be made separate, garden view and ensuite with bath, shower, bidet and toilet.

Rosa Bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together, garden view and ensuite with bath, shower, bidet and toilet.

Blue Bedroom with queen size bed, garden view and ensuite with bath, shower, bidet and toilet.

Pink Bedroom with 2 single beds, garden view and ensuite bath, shower, bidet and toilet.

Property Location

Sitges, the popular Mediterranean beach resort can be reached within 15 minutes. It takes only 5 minutes to the motorway giving quick and easy access to the whole coastal area. The local market towns of Canyelles, Sant Pere de Ribes, Vilanova and Vilafranca del Penedes are all within a few minutes drive.

Barcelona and other world-class tourist destinations such as Portaventura and Montserrat are within an hours drive. The beautiful Pyrenees mountains and stunning Costa Brava coast are just 2 to 3 hours away and are ideal for day trips.

If you are considering booking Masia Cal Mingo for a company trip or any other gathering involving a large group I warmly urge you to do so. The location with its surrounding hills and total absence of any noise seems quite remote, but it will only take you 15 min by car to reach Sitges. The villa is beautiful, the pool area is great and the seating area outside is perfect for lunches and dinners. The rooms are well equipped, the kitchen is fully equipped and the large number of bathrooms makes it a hassle free stay. All in all a great experience we would not hesitate to repeat.

Masia Cal Mingo is the most beautiful villa near Sitges. The villa was superbly equipped with everything one could need. There were 19 of us ranging from 6 to 80 years old and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to have our family reunion. Spectacular pool and grounds and wonderful outdoor eating area and barbecue, even two large outdoor coolers for drinks, there was everything we needed. Jem, Saskia and Aleks were so helpful and we had a delicious dinner at Club 27 one evening. We didn’t want to leave and can’t recommend this villa highly enough and would love to go back another time.

Wow, what a place! I was celebrating a landmark birthday with a large group of friends and on pulling up to the stunning hacienda style property we were wowed with not only a warm welcome but the beautiful surroundings we were spending time in. We certainly made the most of the amazing bbq area too. Only a short drive to Sitges for the beach, around 15 – 20 mins and we were basking on the beach. At the villa, the style is a mix of contemporary and traditional combined effortlessly. I cant recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much!
