Villa Capdet has an intriguing historical past being the birthplace and home of Capitan Josep Capdet, the swashbuckling leader of a local militia that carried out several attacks on the occupying French troops during the Napoleonic Wars in the early 1800’s.

Now a luxury retreat and event venue, Villa Capdet offers all modern convenience and comforts in a tranquil natural setting, while at the same time retaining the character and ambience of this wonderful old house.

The Masia sits in its own organic vineyard where they produce 30,000 bottles of Pinord aromatic wine which is a mix of Roman Muscatel and German Gewürztraminer grape. Also, the estate harvests 6,000 kilos of organic carob tree every year.  All the gardens are planted with indigenous plants of rosemary, thyme, lavender, and palms of the Garraf Natural Park.

There is easy access to Barcelona and its airport, within 30 and 20 minutes respectively, and the beautiful beaches of Sitges only minutes away. Numerous good local restaurants and vineyards are close by and the famous Penedes and Cava producing winemakers Torres, Cordiniu, Freixenet, and Gramona are within visiting distance.

Villa Capdet is an ideal venue for large group holidays or for events and celebrations.

INTERIOR

The 500 m2 of luxurious and fully air-conditioned living space at Villa Capdet is stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished. Guests can relax in four different lounge areas inside the house, three of which feature large Multimedia/TV-screens. There is a large communal bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, 2 toilets and 3 washbasins.

The house can accommodate up to 16 guests in 7 twin/double bedrooms, 6 with ensuite showers and toilets, 1 twin/double bedroom on the main floor, and 1 private living room with a double sofa bed. There are additional single fold-out beds and cribs if requested. Many of the bedrooms have Juliet balconies and the master bedroom features its own private jacuzzi.

Preparing meals is a pleasure in the spacious and fully equipped modern kitchen and there is ample space for large groups of up to 40 guest to dine together inside a beautiful dining hall.

Villa Capdet is set within 50 beautiful acres of vineyards and the native terrain of the Garraf Natural Park that surrounds the property. The large grounds that surround the property create a natural haven of peace and calm and yet it is still possible to walk into the nearest town.

Guests will love the fantastic 15m x 3m saltwater swimming pool with wonderful views over the vineyards and the Mediterranean glistening in the distance. There is a terrace with plenty of space in which to relax in the sun as well as a shaded area with dining table and comfortable seating.

There is a further terrace at the rear of the property as well as other cozy spaces around the gardens in which to kick back and enjoy some quiet time.
