Can Tomeu Capdet was built towards the end of the nineteenth century to house the additional personnel working on the farm nearby and is now a protected building owing to its historic significance.

Now renovated into a luxury boutique retreat, Can Tomeu offers all modern convenience and comforts in a tranquil natural setting, while at the same time retaining the historical integrity and ambience of this wonderful old house. Can Tomeu offers 3 fully air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 6 guests (plus 2/3 small children) and can be rented for holidays or for small events with up to 15 guests.

There is easy access to Barcelona and its airport, within 30 and 20 minutes respectively, and the beautiful beaches of Sitges only minutes away. Numerous good local restaurants and vineyards are close by and the famous Penedes and Cava producing winemakers Torres, Cordiniu, Freixenet, and Gramona are within visiting distance.

INTERIOR

Can Tomeu offers 140 square meters of internal living space with central floor heating throughout and air conditioning in the bedrooms. There is WiFi all over the property and each bedroom has a TV.

Ground Floor features a fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining room and living room with a large TV. Large windows look out over the forest on one side and the pool area and mountains on the other.

The spacious living room has a sectional sofa with seating for all and wonderful windows looking out over the hillsides. A separate dining room has a large rustic table with 5-meter beamed ceiling. There is seating for 10 or more guests.

There are two ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor and the other bedroom is located on the first floor.

Additional accommodation is available at Masia Capdet, a delightfully restored country house on the same estate sleeping a further 16 guests in 7 double bedrooms and located just a stone’s throw away from Can Tomeu. Both properties can be rented together to provide a total of 10 bedrooms sleeping up to 22 guests.

Can Tomeu sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms (can be converted to singles if advised in advance) with ensuite showers and toilets. The layout is as follows.

Additional house with 7 further bedrooms less than 2 mins walk away is available on request.

GARDENS & OUTSIDE SPACES

Can Tomeu is set within 50 beautiful acres of vineyards and the native terrain of the Garraf Natural Park that surrounds the property. These large grounds create a natural haven of peace and calm and yet it is still possible to walk into the nearest town.

Guests will love the fantastic 12m x 2m saltwater swimming pool with wonderful countryside views. There is a terrace with space in which to relax in the sun as well as a shaded area with dining table and comfortable seating. The outside spaces have ambient solar lighting.

A further terrace at the rear of the property as well as other cosy shaded corners around the gardens are ideal spaces in which to kick back and enjoy some quiet time.

There is an outdoor summer kitchen and BBQ by the pool. Pool towels, sun loungers and parasols are all provided.
