Villa Solaris is a beautiful modern design villa with a heated pool enjoying a sunny elevated position in Mas Mila, just a 12-minute drive from Sitges. This is a high quality contemporary design holiday home meticulously built to the highest specifications and thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of its privileged position with wonderful views over the surrounding hills and vineyards.

It offers a peaceful and private location that is ideal for a highly relaxing family holiday and yet it’s still very close to local amenities. Villa Solaris is just a 12 minute drive from the highly popular and bustling resort of Sitges with its bars, cafes, boutiques, restaurants and fantastic sandy beaches, and around 35 minutes from Barcelona and airport.

ACCOMMODATION

The extensive use of glass in the design means that every room in Villa Solaris is full of light and enjoys panoramic views across the hills of the Garraf Natural Park. The decor is both modern and stylish, with high quality furnishing and attractive parquet floors throughout.

Villa Solaris is arranged over 3 floors as follows;

GROUND FLOOR

Entry to Villa Solaris is either via the ground floor or the top floor. The ground floor features a spacious open-plan living room that has large windows overlooking the terrace and pool area. The living area is stylishly furnished with a large comfortable sofa and 3D TV, DVD Blue Ray and IDOCK with good lighting that creates the perfect ambiance for your holiday.

The living area enjoys wonderful views over pine covered hills and lush vineyards. The dining area is spacious and includes a dining table that comfortably seats 8 guests.

The kitchen is to the left of the living room and is fully equipped with all appliances, including oven, microwave, 4-ring hob, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and everything else necessary for your stay. The dining area located by the kitchen includes a dining table that comfortably seats 8 guests.

The kitchen and dining area open out directly to the terrace and pool area.

FIRST FLOOR

The first of the bedrooms is located just a few steps up from the living area. This is the master suite with floor to ceiling windows that frame the panoramic views across the hills. This bedroom features a balcony with comfortable seating that overlooks the pool and terrace area.

TOP FLOOR

The top floor of the villa is home to a further 3 bedrooms, all tastefully furnished and with a large shared family bathroom. Villa Solaris can sleep up to 8/9 guests in 4 bedrooms arranged as follows;

BEDROOMS

Bedroom 1 – Master ensuite with desk, built in wardrobe, terrace with views.
Bedroom 2 – Large double, built in wardrobes & terrace with stairs leading to a terrace and pool area.
Bedroom 3 – Twin beds with small wardrobe, extra Z-bed can be added to sleep 9.
Bedroom 4 – Twin beds with small wardrobe.

BATHROOMS

Bathroom 1 – Large shower, washbasin, bidet & toilet.
Bathroom 2 – Ensuite, jacuzzi bath with shower, washbasin, bidet & toilet.
Bathroom 3 – Toilet & washbasin on ground floor.

TERRACE AND POOL AREA

The centerpiece of the gardens is a fantastic 8m x 4m *heated swimming pool that offers wonderful views across the hills. The attractively tiled pool area provides plenty of room for sunbathing and relaxation. Directly outside the kitchen area is a large dining table comfortably seating 10 guests and a BBQ for outdoor cooking. There is also a very cool lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing.

There is an additional terrace that is accessed from the double bedroom on the top floor, this terrace offers further space for enjoying the sun and relaxing whilst admiring the beautiful views.

The rest of the gardens that surrounds the villa have been left in their attractive natural state consisting of limestone rocks interspersed with aromatic Mediterranean herbs and palms.

Please note that the water temperature we hope to achieve is between 22c and 29c, however, this cannot be guaranteed in the winter months due to factors such as high rainfall and adverse weather conditions etc.

The surroundings of Olivella are also great and worth exploring. The pool and terrace are great and the barbecue worked great. Highly recommended if you like Sitges and BCN (40 minutes) but also like to have your peace and quiet.

A very nice house with a great view of the mountains. Restaurants and beach are easy to reach by car. However, you need a car up there. The road is super developed. Sitges is very nice and has many restaurants and shops. It is best to park in the car park. The house is super equipped with Netflix and co. The kitchen is not really high quality, but super equipped. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the accommodation. When it rained, we used the table tennis table in the basement.
