Masia Can Vidal is a charming 12^th century farmhouse nestling in the heart of the celebrated Penedes cava and wine producing region and just 35 minutes from Barcelona airport and 30 minutes from the coast.

Sleeping up to 30 guests in 9 bedrooms, this beautiful Masia has been tastefully restored to a modern level of comfort but still retains the essence of its historic past with many original features such as wooden ceiling beams, exposed stone walls, tiled floors and quirky alcoves.

The house is sympathetically furnished to a comfortable level and is fully equipped to the level you would expect of a quality holiday rental.

Set high on a hillside, the Masia enjoys delightful views of vineyards and mountains from every room and on clear days there are spectacular views of Monserrat and the Pyrenees mountains in the distance.

Guests can enjoy the Masia’s 4.5 hectares of attractive grounds including large grassy areas, an outside dining area, chill out spaces with hammocks, a BBQ and a beautiful 8m x 3m swimming pool. With its separate 150 m2 barn and spacious lawned areas, Masia Can Vidal is also an established and successful venue for weddings, celebrations, film shoots and business events.

The location of the Masia makes it possible for guests to enjoy unlimited outdoor activities with walking, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and quad biking right on the doorstep. Wine and cava tasting visits can be arranged at the numerous Bodegas (wineries) that surround the Masia.

The Masia provides a wonderful haven of peace and tranquility amongst the rolling vineyards of the Penedes for large families or groups of friends to holiday together, as well as offering a wonderful space for celebrations and corporate gatherings.

Despite this peaceful location the Masia offers unlimited opportunities for outdoor activities and is within easy reach of Barcelona and the coast.

ACCOMMODATION

The Masia offers 687 m2 of living space arranged over 3 floors and accommodating up to 24 guests.

Communal Areas

The masia is entered through large rustic doors into a spacious reception area that leads directly up a few steps or ramp for wheelchair users to the dining area.

The first of the three living rooms is located to the right of the entrance. This room has a sofa.

The second large living room is located on the 1st floor and offers three comfortable sofas, a TV, several coffe tables and a wood burner for those cooler out of season evenings.

The third living room is located near bedroom 8 and 9 and offers a comfortable sofa that can be made into a sofa bed. This living room has doors leading out to the gardens.

Kitchen

The spaicous and rustic style kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge freezer, dishwaster, cofffee machine, toaster and all utensils required to make it home from home. The kitchen also has a utility room housing a washing machine and another fridge freezer both of which are for guest use.

Bedrooms

There are 9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 2 additional toilets configured as follws;

Bedroom 1 – Spacious attic room with 4 single beds with TV and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 – Adjoining the attic room is a twin room.
Bedroom 3 – Orange double bedroom with ensuite.
Bedroom 4 – Large turquise double bedroom.
Bedroom 5 – Turquise twin bedroom.
Bedroom 6 – Large green triple room with a double and single bed and ensuite.
Bedroom 7 – Pretty pink double bedroom.
Bedroom 8 – Blue double bedroom with ensuite.
Bedroom 9 – Another blue double bedroom sharing ensuite with bedroom 8.

There are two sofa beds located in 2 of the 3 lounges that can accomodate a further 3 guests.

Bathroom 1 – Ground floor large bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet.
Bathroom 2 – Attic room – tiled wet room with shower and toilet.
Bathroom 3 – Ensuite to orange bedroom, yellow bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet.
Bathroom 4 – Ensuite to blue bedroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.
Bathroom 5 – Ensuite to triple room – white bathroom with large shower, bidet and toilet.
Bathroom 6 – Ensuite to pink room with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Toilet 1 – toilet and washbasin off the living room.
Toilet 2 – toilet and washbasin in Ceremony room.

The weekend we stayed that was magical. Masia Can Vidal is a great place to stay huge outdoor area where the kids could wonder about with no problems. It's so peaceful and definitely forgot all the rutine back home. Can Vidal has lots of character. The owner's were very hopeful and recommended lots of good places to go and see. The kids miss loads Masia Can Vidal and for sure we will be back this summer, and organise/celebrate a birthday party of our 5years old, has they have a event house in the property. Thank you so much

La casa esta muy bonita, y muy bien decorada. Todos las habitaciones disponen de un baño, el jardin es maravilloso y el césped muy bien cuidado. y el espacio para las barbacoa también! Todas las habitaciones tienen su privacidad! Los dueños Ana y su hijo Christian, son muy simpáticos y muy atentos al buen estar de sus huéspedes.

Escric en nom del grup. Som un grup que ens reunim subint per a passar caps de setmana plegats. En esta ocasió ens vam decidir per Can Vidal. Va ser increíble, no nomès ho vam passar fenomenal si no que vam gaudir d'un ambient únic. Can Vidal té unes vistes preciosas; s'hi respira una tranquilidad..., i tant aprop de Barcelona a la vegada... Vam tenir sort amb el temps i vam poder estrenar la acollidora piscina i relaxar-nos amb les seves bombolles de massatge. Estem molt contents de l'experiència.. A més, ja estem planejant una nova estada en Can Vidal. ¡¡¡¡¡¡Gràcies als propietaris per haver-nos confiat la casa aquell cap de setmana!!!!!! Anne Bermejo.

Our stay at Masia Can Vidal was a truly wonderful experience. Anna and Chris were really welcoming and made our arrival and exit very easy. The house was fantastic, the surrounding countryside is beautiful and the views were spectacular. We went with a large group yet the house easily accommodated us all and we all slept in comfort. The outdoor bbq space and swimming pool were very welcome and the fact that its in cava country and the cleaner supplied us with locally made cava was a wonderful added bonus!

Fantastic host and extremely helpful every step of the way. The location is a dream and people commented that they felt they were in a fantasy! We stayed here for 5 nights and it was unforgettable! The villa has very nice spacious bedrooms and they all had heating as well. We used the outdoor space for a nice BBQ and at night we had drinks outside at the BBQ fire. The hosts were very helpfull all the way. The villa is in a very beautiful area and the views from the garden and bedrooms are amazing. I can only imagine how it must be in the summer!!! Definetly a recommendation for anyone who is reading this. We will be back hopefuly in the near future! Thank you so much for everything!
