The apartment is the perfect holiday choice for anyone that wants to be in the very heart of the action and have every attraction that Sitges can offer right on the doorstep.

The fabulous and colourful Duplex Miro is ideally situated on the main street in the very heart of Sitges town centre and is only a short walk from the beaches and railway station. The many cafes, bars, restaurants, boutiques and other attractions of Sitges are right on the doorstep.

The building in which the apartment is located has historical significance as both the birthplace and later the working studio of the noted Catalan artist Joaquim de Miro Argenter (1849 - 1914).

The apartment is arranged over the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. The 1st floor comprises of an open plan living / dining area and fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.  There is also a small balcony with table and two chairs that is perfect for people watching and soaking up the unique atmosphere of Sitges. The beautifully coloured bedrooms as well another modern bathroom is located on the 2nd floor.

LIVING SPACE

The apartment is accessed via a flight of stairs from street level. The door to Duplex Miro opens into a hallway and on the right is a compact but very practical and fully equipped kitchen, complete with Nespresso machine, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen also has access to a utility room housing a washing machine, beach umbrella and 2 beach chairs all for guest use.

The richly coloured and stylishly furnished living area has both a ceiling fan and Penguin air conditioning for guest comfort. There is a comfortable sofa bed, three armchairs and a large Smart Apple TV. The dining area has an extendable table seating up to 6 guests.  

A quaint balcony overlooks the hustle and bustle of Parellades street below and is furnished with a small table and seating for two.

Also on this floor is a small bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.

BEDROOMS

The 2nd floor offers 3 bedrooms and another bathroom as follows:

Grey & Green Bedroom 1 – Double (170cm x 200cm) with A/C, ceiling fan, built in wardrobes and triple glazing on the windows.

Grey & Blue Bedroom 2 – Twin (2 x 110cm x 200cm) with A/C, ceiling fan, built in wardrobes and triple glazing on the windows. 

Grey & Yellow Bedroom 3 – Small double (135cm x 200cm) with ceiling fan, built in wardrobes, facing the back of the building.

(In order to comfortably accommodate 6 individual guests, the sofa bed in the living room can be made up for the 6th person and the bed in bedroom three can then be used as a single.)

The bathroom on this floor is complete with a shower, wash basin and toilet.

OTHER DETAILS

  • All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and 2 of the 3 also have A/C.
  • Beach chairs and umbrella available for guest use.
  • The beach around a 3-minute walk (150m).
  • The train station is only a 4-minute walk away.
  • The apartment is located on the 1st and 2nd floors and there is no elevator.
  • The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone that has difficulty using stairs.
  • There is paid parking available at 20 Euros per day located 250 meters from the apartment.
