Villa Mediterránia is bathed in bright sunlight all day long and, from wherever you are in the house, you will be delighted by glimpses of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea at every turn.

Nestling on a hillside overlooking the town of Sitges, this exceptional holiday home has been meticulously built to the highest specifications and thoughtfully designed over 3 levels to take full advantage of its privileged position.

Villa Mediterránia is located in the very popular urbanization of Vallpineda, very close to Sitges town. The charm of Vallpineda is that it offers space and a sense of tranquility, and yet is only a 20-minute walk from the centre of Sitges. There are several good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the villa, as well as tennis courts, a gymnasium, two public swimming pools and other sports facilities close by.

Villa Mediterránia’s location is ideal for a highly relaxing family holiday and yet it's still very close to local amenities and the world-class holiday resort of Sitges.

ACCOMMODATION

The extensive use of glass in the design means that every room in Villa Mediterránia is full of light and enjoys wonderful panoramas of Sitges town and the sea. The decor is both modern and stylish.

The villa is arranged over 3 floors as follows;

Entry Level
The villa is entered through a pretty courtyard with lush palms and Mediterranean plants. The main entrance to the villa opens out into a large open plan living area with comfortable, stylish sofas. The lounge area is spacious and bright with large picture windows offering wonderful sea views. There is also an attractive fireplace for those cooler out of season evenings.

Next to the lounge are a separate dining area with large table and seating for 10 people, and an open-plan designer kitchen with a breakfast bar and fully equipped with everything needed for a fantastic holiday.

There is also an integrated surround sound speaker system into which you can plug your IPod or MP3 player and enjoy your favourite music in every part of this floor of the villa.

The entry level of the villa also features a large master bedroom suite with ample wardrobe space and double sliding doors to the terrace with panoramic sea views. The ensuite bathroom includes a full bath, walk in shower and double washbasins.

The entry level of the villa is surrounded on 2 sides by a delightful covered terrace with tables and chairs for outside dining.

There is also access from the entrance courtyard down to the gardens and pool area.

The entry level also has an undercover carport and access to a utility room.

Upper Level

Just behind the dining area are stairs leading to the upper level of the villa where there are two well sized and stylish double bedrooms and full bathroom. Both bedrooms feature sliding doors onto a large private terrace overlooking Sitges and the sea.

Lower Level
From the main entrance are stairs down to the lower level of the villa with a double and twin bedroom, both with access to a large covered outdoor dining and lounge area with full sized BBQ and kitchen. Behind the kitchen is a gym with exercise equipment and weights.

The outdoor living area has comfortable sofas and chairs and offers the perfect space for relaxation with your family and friends while enjoying the exceptional views.

There is access from the lower level of the villa to the gardens and pool area.

Outside Space

The villa has a fantastic 9 x 3.5 meter swimming pool surrounded by plenty of private sunbathing areas and beautiful mature Mediterranean plants, which creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

To the left of the pool area is a grassed area framed by palms and trees and offering an escape from the hot midday sun. Just above the garden area is a large trampoline for the children to play on.  There is also table tennis and 2 beach cruiser bikes to enjoy the town with.

The pool area and gardens are accessed via the side of the villa or directly from the BBQ area and lower floor bedrooms.

There is secure off-street shaded parking for one car at Villa Mediterránia. There is also unlimited and free on-street parking at the front of the villa and no permits are required.

OTHER INFORMATION

Bus and taxi services are easily available, however, the centre of Sitges is an enjoyable 20-minute stroll away.

Villa Mediterránia is suitable for wheelchair users wanting to use the master suite, however the bathroom is not aided.

RENTAL PRICES

Villa Mediterránia is only available from the end of June to the end of August. Weekly rental prices are as follows;

29th of June to the 25th of August 2012 – 4,200 euros / week (min 7 nights)

(A 100 euro cleaning fee is payable in addition to the above rental fees.)
