Situated in a peaceful location, surrounded by shady pine trees it is only a 10 minute drive from the hustle, bustle and beautiful beaches of Sitges, with its narrow streets full of tapas bars and boutiques.

The local area offers unlimited opportunities for sporting activities such as road biking, mountain biking, hill walking, tennis and numerous water sports. Recently included in the Vuelta de España, there are many challenging routes for the serious (or not so serious!) rider.

Barcelona city centre, with its myriad of galleries, museums, restaurants and fascinating architecture is only a 40 minute drive away and closer still are the many vineyards that make up the Penedes wine region, with ample opportunity for sampling the local produce!

Casa Tranquila oozes calm and tranquillity. There are many spaces in which to relax and kick back, whether you are looking for shade under the tall pine trees or sunbathing by the pool. The kids won’t have a chance to get bored either! With a huge trampoline, swings, tree house, ping pong, ride on toys, football table, not to mention the swimming pool – you can be assured of a great holiday!

Accommodation

Upper Level

Casa Tranquila offers simple spacious accommodation with a modern feel, a luxury kitchen and spacious living area. Casa Tranquila sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms over 2 floors.

Steps lead from the gate up to the front door on the upper level. You enter into the open plan living area, with a comfortably furnished lounge area - sofas, wood burning stove and wall mounted 40” plasma TV (with free view box), book shelves with an eclectic mix of books.

This area is open plan leading into the spacious, light and airy dining area and fantastic kitchen. A 90cm freestanding Siemens cooker with 5 ring gas hob and full size Siemens fridge and separate freezer, with wide marble work tops and barstools make it a pleasure to cook there! A Dualit toaster and kettle, an espresso machine and of course a dish washer (Bosch), it will feel like a home from home.

There is a beautiful round ash table which seats 8, as well as a piano and a Bose IPod dock in the dining area. Sliding doors open out onto the BBQ area and garden and there is also a side door leading out to the swimming pool area. Large windows ensure a good view of the garden from the kitchen/dining area.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are simply furnished:

Bedroom 1: Double bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan

Bedroom 2: Single bed which converts to double bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan.

Bathroom 1: Small bathroom with bath / shower

Stairs leading to lower level:

Bedroom 3: Large room with twin beds, large built in wardrobe, space for extra bed, fan and double sliding doors leading out onto terrace.

Bedroom 4: Large room with double bed, ample drawer space, space for extra bed, fan

Bathroom 2: Small shower room.

The washing machine can be found in a small outbuilding, with fold up Brabantia washing line.

Outside Space:

Casa Tranquil has the most wonderful gardens which surround the house. Fruit trees and flowers, along with tall shady pine trees, provide a calming environment. There is a stone table with benches close to the built in BBQ. A larger teak dining table is situated in dappled shade, also close to the BBQ area.

There is a large flat play area, with trampoline, ride on toys, football table and space for mini tennis or badminton located on one side of the garden will provide hours of entertainment! On the other side of the house you will find the swimming pool with terrace and fantastic views over the hills and forest.

With sun loungers by the pool and comfortable, low seating for chilling out, you may never want to leave!

The price per week is 1950€, plus a final cleaning fee of 100€. We also require a 700€ refundable damage deposit.
